Extra Curricular Activities
At Bloxham CE Primary, we are proud to offer a wide range of enriching extra-curricular activities that help our children discover new interests, develop talents and build confidence beyond the classroom. With opportunities in sport, music, the arts, technology, outdoor learning and much more, our clubs and activities encourage pupils to be active, creative, curious and collaborative.
These experiences play an important role in supporting our vision to Encourage one another and build each other up (1 Thessalonians 5:11) and our motto of Be. Build. Become. They nurture individual strengths, develop new skills and foster friendships across our school community, helping every child to flourish both in and beyond the classroom.
We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated staff and external providers who make these opportunities possible, enabling our children to broaden their horizons, pursue their passions and create lasting memories throughout their primary school journey.
To ensure that every club remains a safe, enjoyable and positive experience for all, the high standards of behaviour expected during the school day also apply to all extra-curricular activities, whether they are led by school staff or by external providers. Pupils are expected to demonstrate our iCATCH values of being Inclusive, Caring, Ambitious, Trustworthy, Creative and Honest at all times.
The school operates a no-strike policy for clubs. Participation in extra-curricular activities is a privilege, and where a pupil's behaviour falls below our expectations, they may be withdrawn from the club and denied further participation. This decision will always be made in the interests of ensuring a positive experience for all children. Where a club is subject to a charge, any fees already paid will not normally be refunded following withdrawal due to unacceptable behaviour.
