Who's Who
Mrs Sarah Marshall
Headteacher
I am delighted and privileged to have been Headteacher of Bloxham CE Primary School since 2022.
My teaching career began in Birmingham before I moved to Coventry, where I worked as both a class teacher and later an Advisory Teacher, supporting schools and colleagues across the local authority. In 2000, I moved to Warwickshire and, in 2002, began the first of my three headships.
Throughout my career, I have sought to ensure that children are never defined by labels or have their futures pre-judged. As a parent myself, I often reflect on how I would feel receiving a particular communication or seeing my own children treated in a certain way. Every child deserves the very best education we can provide, alongside the opportunity to learn in a safe, supportive environment where they are valued, respected and encouraged to show that same respect to others.
I feel incredibly fortunate to lead Bloxham CE Primary School and work alongside such a talented, dedicated and professional staff team. Together, we strive to create a nurturing and ambitious environment where children develop confidence, character and a love of learning.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. Weekends are often spent in the countryside with our two dogs, Bertie and Bear, tackling the latest stage of our ongoing property renovation project or trying out a new baking recipe. I also enjoy improving my fitness and running. Although the desire to get on the treadmill or pick up the weights is not always there, seeing the progress that comes from sticking with it is a powerful motivation to continue.
As the demands placed upon schools continue to grow, the resilience, determination and unwavering commitment of the Bloxham team to providing exciting and meaningful opportunities for our children makes it a pleasure to come to work each day.
