Bloxham CE Primary Marks Safer Internet Day 2026

Pupils and staff at Bloxham CE Primary joined schools across the country on Tuesday 10th Feb to celebrate Safer Internet Day 2026, a day dedicated to promoting safe, responsible, and positive use of technology.
This year, we were joined again by OpenView Education, who led a variety of engaging workshops and assemblies tailored to each age group:
-
Foundation, Year 1 & 2 enjoyed the Wizards Assembly, learning how to make smart and safe choices online.
-
Years 3, 4 & 5 took part in the One Good Choice Assembly, exploring how small decisions online can have a big impact.
-
Year 6 participated in interactive workshops, focusing on more complex topics such as cyberbullying, online privacy, and managing digital footprints responsibly.
The day provided pupils with practical tips for staying safe online while using technology in positive ways. From assemblies to hands-on workshops, every activity encouraged discussion, reflection, and a better understanding of the online world.
We are proud of all our pupils for their enthusiasm and thoughtful contributions throughout the day, and we hope these important lessons will continue at home.
