At Bloxham Church of England Primary School, we teach the Locally Agreed Syllabus supported by the Discovery RE resource. We value every child’s spiritual, emotional and social development and recognise that every child and their view is unique.

We encourage everyone to explore their own beliefs and faith through knowledge and the power of reflection as well as developing support of a deep respect of all faiths and understanding of the Christian, Jewish, Muslim and Hindu religions.

Families have the right to withdraw their children from the teaching of RE. Families who wish to do so should inform the school in writing. Pupils who are withdrawn from RE will be provided with work to support their learning of an alternative curriculum subject, for example an online maths exercise.
